At Genie, we take our privacy responsibilities seriously and understand the importance to protect your Personal Data. We will manage your data in a professional manner and will keep your information secure. Below we explain how we may collect Personal Data about you. We explain some of the security measures that we have in place to protect your Personal Data and identify what we will do and not do. Please do read this in conjunction with our website terms.
A. Collecting Information
A.1 We may collect Personal Data about you from a variety of sources, including the following:

A.4.1 Technical device information, this includes the device used to access our site (i.e. desktop, mobile or tablet).
A.4.2 Details of your visit. This will include pages you have navigated, products you have searched for, page response times, website errors, time of visit, page interaction and use, how you browse away from the page and whether you have subscribed to our social media accounts.
A.4.3 We will not collect ‘sensitive personal data’ from you. For Example, information about your ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs or health or sex life, sexual orientation; genetic or biometric data.
B. Using Your Personal Information
B.1 To generate electronic and printed invoices containing the services or products that you have ordered.
B.2 To create artwork and print ready files, if this is a service you have purchased.
B.3 To help us identify you when you contact us in any way.
B.4 We will only use your Personal Information to provide the product and service that has been ordered, we understand our responsibility when collecting Personal Data and shall not keep any information longer than is necessary to fulfill your orders.
B.5 To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us.
B.6 To help us to administer and to contact you about improved administration of our website, services and products we have provided before, do provide now or will or may provide in the future. We may contact you to notify you about changes to our services.
B.7 To allow us to contact you via email, telephone or visit about products and services offered by us that are similar to those already provided to you, unless you have asked us not to do so.
B.8 To ensure www.geniedesignandprint.co.uk is safe, secure and presented to you in the most user friendly manner.
B.9 We will not disclose your Personal Data to any third party, unless to fulfill your order as part of our contract. Please refer to B.11 and B.12.

B.11 When items are dispatched and we instruct delivery companies to deliver your ordered goods to you. Our contracts with the delivery companies are bound by strict contractual provisions with us and only have access to Personal Data needed to perform their functions, and will not be used for any other purpose. Your name, company name (if applicable) and delivery address are all that is used with our compliant Data Processors.
B.12 When goods are sent direct from our suppliers to you. B.13 If you provide inaccurate or false information to us and we suspect fraud, we will record this and may share it with the appropriate organisations.
C. Protecting Information
C.1 As per the Data Protection Laws, we adhere to strict security measures to protect your Personal Data. Only authorised and fully trained staff can access your Personal Data.
C.2 All information provided to us is stored securely, on password protected computers that only authorised staff have access to.
C.3 All artwork and print ready files created by us are stored securely, on password protected computers that only authorised staff have access to. We store the artwork and print ready files for additional orders and edits that you may wish us to make. Please notify us if you would like us to remove these from our storage, we shall efficiently undertake your request.
C.4 No person outside of the company has access to our network.
C.5 www.geniedesignandprint.co.uk is hosted on a secure server and has the highest level of SSL certification provided by 1&1 and verified by Geo Trust with up to 256-bit SSL encryption. The secure connection is visible on the address bar when visiting www.geniedesignandprint.co.uk.
C.6 Personal Data collected in written or printed format is shredded once no longer required. All shredded material is collected by BPR Group, an authorised and regulated waste management company, all collections are securely destroyed to BS EN 15713. We are presented with certification that officially authorises the secure destruction. Such collections happen on a weekly basis. Vehicles used for the transit of shredded Personal Data from our Business Address to the BSIA accredited recycling facility have built in GPS tracking. The recycling facility, which is patrolled by security staff and monitored by CCTV is in accordance with BS 7499.
C.7 Genie Design and Print Ltd maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of Personal Data.
C.8 Personal Data shall be retained for so long as we reasonably require the processing of it. Your Personal Data will then be deleted.
C.9 Invoices generated containing Personal Data - name, company name (if applicable), billing address, delivery address, email address, telephone number and the products and services ordered are securely stored. Printed copies will be securely stored at our business address for a period of six years as per UK law and HMRC requirements. Digital copies are stored securely, on password protected computers that only authorised staff have access to. These are deleted when no longer required.
D. The Internet
D.1 Communications sent over the internet, such as emails, web mails and through social media platforms are not secure unless they have been encrypted. We cannot accept responsibility for an unauthorised access or loss of Personal Data that is beyond our reasonable control.

F. Your Rights
F.1 You as an individual have the folllowing rights:

- The right to object; and
- The right not to be subject to automated decision-making including profiling.
F.1 The Data Protection Laws give you the right to access information held about you. You have the right to ask for your Personal Data to be deleted or moved to another provider. These can be referred to the ‘Right to Erasure’ and the ‘Right to Data Portability’. Please contact us using details set out in E.1 if you wish to exercise any of those rights.
